Who are we... The architectural office Raess was founded in 1980 by Peter Raess. In 2008, long-time employee Daniel Gisler took over the business from Peter Raess. He decided to change the name after 10 years of management. Since the beginning of 2018 we appear under a new name "Gisler Architektur und Bauplanung AG". In summer 2018 we changed our location and moved from Rudenz 10, to Sandstrasse 2 in Meiringen. On the first floor of the new building, we have set up our new offices. Our team currently consists of six employees. The mixture between young and experienced, competence and motivation result in a good mix, as well as a good working atmosphere. In our office we employ at least one apprentice. It is a great concern for us to teach young people from the region our "craft" and to train them in the best possible way. Philosophy...

For us, every project, big or small, is unique. The motto is "well planned is well built." We gather all the criteria of the assignment and deal with the design of the interior and exterior space, involve the client, their needs and habits, deal with legal, social, environmental and economic conditions. This results in a variety of possibilities that we are allowed to solve. As a practical and local architecture and planning office, we try to respond to the ideas and visions of our region and want to implement them as efficiently as possible.
