M&T like to deal with all kinds of different building tasks and their requirements and to search for their appropriate architectural expression tailored to the needs of the user at the respective location. Besides the function the project has to fulfill, the cultural and local background is often a source of inspiration. Considerations of sustainability in an ecological, economic and social sense play a major role in the design process and are perceived as enriching the task.

M&T's core competence is the design, from the preliminary study to the implementation planning. Cost planning, scheduling, construction management and client representation are also part of M&T's services. For larger projects, M&T works in partnership with construction management firms. M&T value interdisciplinary teamwork with a wide range of specialist planners, specialists and contractors.
