Our company was founded in 1951 by Reinhold Perreten as a sole proprietorship in Gstaad. In 1984 the sole proprietorship was transformed into Chaletbau R.Perreten AG by the sons Ulrich + Christian Perreten.
Our customers include architects and builders Our main services are: Chalet construction, carpentry, wood construction, interior finishing and old wood construction.We are specialized in combining your wishes with the special features of a chalet in an ideal way. This requires sensitivity, empathy and understanding of specific characteristics, which we can offer thanks to our years of experience. Due to the numerous projects we have already realized, we can always fall back on our experience. We build our houses exclusively according to the individual wishes and for the benefit of the client, and every execution is carried out by us professionally and to the best of our knowledge.

BUILDINGS IN NEW AND OLD WOOD

In the meantime we have specialized in such works. Building with old wood has been very popular for a long time. Many love old wood buildings because of their genuine, noble and historical character. Interior finishing in reclaimed wood was requested by builders several decades ago. In the early stages, hand-planed reclaimed wood was in high demand for interior finishes. Today, the trend is more towards reclaimed wood with hand-hewn surfaces. For modern rooms, gray or brown weathered reclaimed wood is also used to some extent on the inside.
